There may be some minor reddening of the skin after the threading which usually fades by the next day. If you like, you can apply a light powder to the treated areas to cover the redness. After threading, however, you can put on your usual make-up.
As hair is removed with the root you can feel a slight tweaking or tickling sensation. However, the hair grows back finer and finer over time, making the procedure more pleasant from one time to the next.
The threading technique is suitable for all facial hair (except the nose), e.g. eyebrows, upper lip, cheeks, sideburns, forehead (below the hairline).
It takes a maximum of 15 minutes for both eyebrows.
The result is more precise compared to tweezing or waxing: even the thinnest and lightest hair is removed easily. The shape of the eyebrows is better than with wax. The results last longer compared to tweezing because hair often breaks when removed with a tweezer.
Threading newbies who want to have their eyebrows reshaped completely should let their hair grow out for about two weeks. You don’t have to wait between threadings – just come back whenever you feel bothered by new hair growing.
We do not schedule appointments for waxing nor threading. Just fit it into your day and drop by our studio! It’s not yet possible use our Q waxing app for threading. But the feature will be available soon.
